Update:  I realize they advertise that they grill chicken on Sunday but their hours do not reflect this, I will try to get the info soon and update this article!

La Madrina Food Truck Hood River

About:  La Madrina food truck in Hood River is a Mexican food truck, but recently as least as I know, they have a nice BBQ grill outside now so they are doing grilled chicken, authentically grilled over smoke and fire up on the heights there here in Hood River.  Amazing chicken!!!  I had a plate, which I will show here in a bit but lets get into where and when you can find them:

 

Location:

They are located up on the “heights” here in Hood River.

Address: 1503 12th St, Hood River, OR 97031

This address is in a somewhat open area where there seems to be a few other food trucks.  To get here form downtown Hood River, you go up the road going up a hill past the hospital and then you will be up on “the heights” here in Hood River.  Keep looking to your left and you will see the food truck IF you are coming from downtown Hood River, if you are coming from the other direction, they will be on your right, you will see a big grill/BBQ pit out there, and from Thursdays through Sunday you can get the grilled chicken.

 

Hours:

Monday through Saturday 11am to 6pm

Closed on Sundays.

I got some pictures of the menu here, but I think there is more, I may not have got all the pictures of the menu properly, but this should give a general idea of what they have here:

 

 

About the grilled chicken dish, I wanted to add that for the price I got it at that day, was 12 dollars was an amazing amount of food.  Take a look!
